In this quiet spring...

May this find you warm and well, your heart calm, and loved ones healthy….

Certainly it has been a quiet spring, one that asks us to reflect and to be open to a change of perspective. There are days when I am delighted with our healing earth, breathing, cleaning, opening her sky, and days that I find it difficult to smile or focus… through them all, I am grateful each time I sit down (or stand at an easel or stovetop) to create. Often the result is not what I expected, and it is always in these spaces that I remember we are better to be present than attached to an outcome or the past.

Ever I find renewal drawing with wax and holding lovers in my heart while creating jewelry objects for memory, rich in meaning; but here, I am sharing what I have been working on in my times of emptiness, some drawings of home that are becoming collages and book art.
